This book deals with the content of traditions in the tourism sector in the Wachau Valley. It is about the importance of traditions for the local people and also the marketing aspects of traditions in the tourism sector. How important are those traditions to market tourism in the Wachau Valley. It focused on the various views of the supply side of tourism products and also on the view of the local people being part of traditional clubs. How traditions are transferred from one generation to the next and also to whom.

Elisabeth Winkler was born 1993 in Bregenz, Austria. She studied Tourism- & Leisure Management and Marketing & Sales in Krems an der Donau in English. Throughout those studies Elisabeth wrote this master thesis.
