Beschreibung
With its rapid social, industrial and economic development, China faces huge demands for skilled workers. Vocational education and training (VET) is expected to bear the main responsibility to nurture qualified skilled workers in China. However, current performance of vocational educational and training in skilled worker cultivation cannot keep up with this demand. Vocational curriculum is the pivot on which the vocational education and training turns. Current Chinese vocational curriculum has long been critiqued as one of the reasons for ineptitude in skilled workers cultivation. The remarkable contribution of German VET to foster skilled workers, especially the occupational-action-oriented curriculum in dual training, namely learning-field curriculum, has attracted intense heed from Chinese vocational researchers. This book has made an attempt to develop an occupational-action-oriented curriculum for Chinese photovoltaic-applied skilled workers. It needs to solve two problems, one to transfer the German curriculum concept into the Chinese context, the other to develop a curriculum for a new profession. This book is valuable reading for researchers and students, who are interested in vocational curriculum development in the field of photovoltaics.
