The role of the press in holding public officers accountable while serving the interest of the public has been questioned. Moses C. Ani has obtained his M.A. degree in Mass Communication at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria and is currently undergoing his PhD programme in Mass Communication at NAU, Awka, Anambra State. He is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Nigeria, with several articles published with reputable journals.
