The book contains the performance of three-selected small enterprises organized by rural women in some selected areas of Mymensingh district. Particular attention has been given to the examination of womens participation in different small enterprise activities and role of small entrepreneurship development in socioeconomic development of rural poor women.The book may be helpful to the policy makers and planners in formulating plans for national development.

The author was born in Mymensingh district of Bangladesh. He completed B.Sc. and MS from Bangladesh Agricultural University. He also completed Doctor of Management Science (Agricultural economics and Management) from Northwest A&F University. Now he has been working as a Professor in Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh.
