Beschreibung
The present work deals with mixed-matrix membrane adsorbers for the simultaneous separation of micropollutants from water. On the one hand, the focus was on the preparation and characterization of polymer adsorber particles of different characteristics which were surface-modified with different functional groups. On the other hand, the integration of the adsorber particles into polymer hollow fiber membranes via the nonsolvent-induced phase separation process was focused and the resulting structures were characterized. The adsorption properties of the particles and resulting mixed-matrix membrane adsorbers were comprehensively investigated in static and dynamic adsorption experiments. Four pharmaceuticals of different pharmaceutical classes were used as model substances for the adsorption process. For a potential later application of the mixed-matrix membrane adsorbers their reusability was demonstrated.
