Alternative Cooperative Learning (ACL) with Portable Learning Creadit (PLC) is one of feasible appraoches to achieve it. The study aims to enhance and modify the science learning model for science inquiry from POEC to POEC-2C for informal settings, such as the popular science education held at science museum in order promote the science learning efficacy for the publics who attend the so-called informal science education venues under the circumstance of free choice. The affixed 2C stands for Contest with game-based science activity and Creating extra ideas for the purpose of much better performance to run the game-based contest again.

Nelson C. C. Chen, an assistant researcher, has been serving at the Division of Technology Education, National Science and Technology Museum (NSTM), Taiwan(R.O.C.) since 1998. He was good at creating a learning environment of how to sustain the motivation for learners at the venue of Informal Science Education(ISE) with lots of hands-on activities.
