Under the title "Micro Archives", the catalog book summarizes artistic works by Sabiene Autsch from the last six years. During this period, she has created digital and analog photographs, collages and mixed media works. The artist and scientist reflects on these works through the practice of arrangement, thus placing them in new contexts. The title alludes to the abundance of one's own and other people's images and the limitless generation of visual data, files and materials for which online formats, clouds, archives or atlases are no longer sufficient. In this precarious context, "Micro Archives" position themselves as flexible constellations between art and science and enable an experimental approach to intermediate spaces and temporary states.
