Beschreibung

Based on scientific literature, careful research and own observations, Michael Daxner gives in his new book Afghanistan Endgame - No Lessons Learned? an insight into problems that have occurred with Western engagement in Afghan affairs. In his work Daxner takes a closer look at the various dimensions of political, moral and cultural problems that are overlaid with security and anti-terror(ist) connotations. Questions addressed are what has happened and changed in this society of intervention during the last decade and what will the withdrawal of the international troops mean for Afghanistans future as well as political ethics of our time? This working paper is dedicated to scientists and an interested public whose common interest is to not let Afghanistan fall back into oblivion.
