Beschreibung
This book is a compendium of twelve articles published personally in the world literature between 1963 and 2010. Each of them illumined Nicholsons view that pathologists can dispense largely with animal experiments. The publications grew out of extensive researches on the topography of secondary deposits in lung cancer autopsies. This particular cancer is by its very situation in the vascular system the best to scatter its seeds to every soil in the body. Since Nature has in this manner provided giant opportunities, it is surprising that dwarf depositions commonly manifest. Accordingly, because Natures coded secrets are inherent in the recorded phenomena, the key to unlock them ought to be fashioned. It is hypothesized, therefore, that such a key or keys should be found by exploiting one or more of the human models outlined in this book. Hopefully, targeted therapy of human cancer would be greatly facilitated, especially as the old maneuver of cannulation can be reinforced with the new technique of videomicroscopy when carried out in consenting patients.

Professor Wilson Onuigbo is a world renowned pathologist. In particular, he showed in the British Journal of Cancer in 1967 that Nature kills cancer cells in the human thoracic duct. Accordingly, he predicts that scientific replication of such natural cell death in leading laboratories will necessarily become a boon to suffering mankind.
