Beschreibung

This book joins into the issue of one of the major current Church problems which is leaders and ministers development. Despite the remarkable growing number of believers, the Church fails to develop potentials available within the congregation; as a result, the gap between existing administrative bodies and the coming young stewards is apparently increasing. Contemporary evangelical churches are more concerned with running regular things for the congregation than making something out of the congregation. Their system lacks incorporation of new young leaders and ministers in to the work. Consequently, this dissertation is intended to explore how far mentoring relationship, which is affirmed as useful tool of development and becoming an attention of contemporary practices, is capable of narrowing this gap. The study also covers exploration of the extent to which mentorship is useful for ministerial effectiveness in the Church.
